REMINDERS

Your therapist will text remind you - within 24-hours prior to your next appointment time.

CANCELLATION

For all scheduled appointments there is a requirement of a 24 - hour notice period

otherwise 100% of the agreed fee will be charged.

In the event that you may need to cancel an appointment

please contact your therapist directly to re-schedule.

LATENESS

A late show for an appointment could result in your treatment time being

shortened or re-scheduled.

JUST FOR LADIES

Her-therapy for health has made the decision not to treat male clients for any clinic treatments. However if you are male and would like a treatment I am able to billet you to other excellent Therapist who provide treatment for male clients.

CONSULTATION

You will be asked to complete a consultation form which can be emailed directly. You will then discuss with your therapist prior to treatment at your first visit. At every subsequent visit you and the therapist will complete a short session consultation to see if there have been any changes to your medical history.

CONTRA -INDICATORS

What are contra-indicators? These are medical conditions which might mean your massage would need to be re-scheduled or GP permission sought. Please ensure your therapist is aware of all conditions.

LOCAL - A condition which is localised to a particular area on the body i.e. eczema, bruises - where the treatment may still go ahead but caution is maintained around the affected area. This is not an exhaustive list - please discuss with your therapist.

TOTAL -There are circumstances where your therapist will recommend that a treatment is not carried out i.e. where the client feels feverish or has an infection. This is not an exhaustive list - please discuss with your therapist.

MEDICAL - Certain medical conditions require your GP approval before massage. For example cardio vascular conditions, forms of arthritis, oedemas, pinched nerves. This is not an exhaustive list - please discuss with your therapist.

REFUSAL

Under no circumstances will the therapist massage if under the client is believed to be, or remaining, under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.

REFERRALS

There might be occasions where the therapist may recommend you to be referred onto another practitioner; however this will not occur unless the client is fully aware of the situation. Information will not be passed to a third party without the clients consent.
