activities and therapies to support your small or large-scale event -

Today, stress is a fact of life, and the workplace is no
exception. Deadlines, rapidly changing technology, and unavoidable
interpersonal conflicts are just a few of the stresses workers
cope with daily. A stiff neck, aching wrists, shoulders
that feel as if someone folded them up!! Anyone who has
ever sat behind a desk all day will easily recognise the
symptoms of workplace fatigue. The effects of stress are
cumulative and, and without time to relax and recharge,
can lead to a multitude of aches and pains.

JANE CHILDS
Learning and Development Advisor
Higtown Praetorian Churches Housing Association
"Dear Lynda and all her Team. The dust has settled on Hightown's Staff Conference but still the messages are coming in about the day and I think I have to say that the majority of feedback has been due to the hard work of yourself and the team of therapists who attended on the day.
Lynda your choice of activities and therapies you provided to compliment my Health and Well Being Staff Conference for 200 people was faultless. Staff have come back asking for the Association to provide such things on a regular basis and this is certainly being considered by the senior management team. The laughter workshops went down extremely well and even the sceptics have raved about the fun they had attending the workshops.
Can I also say thanks to the wonderful organisational skills of your facilitators who arranged all the bookings for the therapies they worked extremely hard in making sure everything ran smoothly. Please could you offer my personal thanks to all the therapists and stand providers for helping me to get the message to our staff on how important Health and Well being is in their daily lives. And on a final note it has been a pleasure working with you Lynda and I will certainly be recommending your professional services to others and hope we can work together again in the near future.”

ON-SITE CHAIR MASSAGE
On-site Seated Acupressure Massage is
a wonderful form of stress release which can ease a number
of neck and shoulder problems and make tired aching upper
limbs much more mobile. The intention of this acupressure
massage is to promote a sense of well being. Tense muscles
relax, blood circulation is increased and the organs of the
body are toned. It is not primarily a corrective treatment
but more of a `tune up`, although clients often report lessening
or disappearance of symptoms.
|
Chair massage is a fast, effective and versatile form of
body work and is done on seated clients. Unlike more traditional
massage techniques, chair massage is done through clothing
and no oils are used, making it a quick and effective treatment
in the workplace. Several well known companies, and many
smaller ones, are beginning to appreciate the benefits that
it can bring
|
This particular style of chair massage is based on a traditional
Japanese acupressure sequence that includes the neck, shoulders,
back, arms, hands and scalp. It is designed to specifically
enhance circulation, making clients feel vibrant and refreshed.
Even 15 minutes of massage to the neck, back, arms and hands
can increase circulation, returning energy levels and helping
keep the body out of
stress and injury free
|
In addition to the Meridian Acupressure the treatment also
incorporates aspects of the following therapies:
Indian Head Massage – incorporating Ayurvadic Marma
Points
Shiatsu Acupressure Points
Hand Reflexology
Muscle Stretching
Relaxation and Breathing Techniques
